- Disputes and Complaints: The Office of the Credit Ombud resolves complaints from consumers and businesses that are negatively impacted by credit bureau information or when a consumer has a dispute with a credit provider. The services are free of charge. Credit Ombud. Any ordinary consumer may complain to any institution offering credit, against a debt counsellor and a credit bureau provided the NCR has jurisdiction. The NCR can assist you if your complaint relates to a credit agreement and its contents e.g. interest, initiation fee, over-deductions and overcharging, etc. NCR Complaints
